LAPC offers Admission for Diploma Courses for a 2 & 3 year duration. The Admission are based on the marks secured in the 10th & 12th Examination.
Admission Policy
The polytechnic admits both boys and girls. Reservation will be made as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Admission to Diploma course is directly made by the Institute .
Minimum Marks:
- All the candidates, who have passed the X std are eligible for admission to the first year of the three year diploma course.
- Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination (+2/Academic/ Pure Science / Vocational) / ITI Pass are directly admitted to the second year (lateral entry)
Age limit: There is no age limit.
In respect of candidates, whose maximum marks in the qualifying examination is more than 500 as per scheme, the maximum marks shall be reduced to base of 500 and rank arrived at along with other candidates.
