PEOsObjective
1Acquire technical knowledge in specialized areas of automobile engineering such as Automobile Engines, Autotronics, Automobile chassis and Transmission, Automobile Maintenance and Emission control and Thermal engineering with a focus on research and innovation.
2Mould the students with well-equipped laboratories.
3Become a successful entrepreneur with strong fundamental knowledge in science, mathematics, mechanical and automobile engineering.
4Make the students responsible in society and environment.
PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO)
PSOsObjective
1Ability to troubleshoot the failures occurred in automotive systems / components.
2Ability to develop and execute innovative ideas in the area of Alternative fuels and Emission controls
3Ability to make use of modern mechanical and automobile tools and equipments like wheel balancer, wheel alignment etc.
4Ability to create awareness in society concerning road safety and emission norms.
PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (PO)
Basic and Discipline specific knowledge

An ability to apply the knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to solve the problems occurred in Automobile Engineering.

Problem analysis

An ability to identify and analyze well – defined Automobile engineering problems using codified standard methods.

Design/ development of solutions

An ability to design and develop the solutions for Automobile engineering problems to meet the specific needs of the customers with in realistic constraints such as manufacturability, durability, sustainability and economy.

Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing

An ability to understand and apply modern engineering tools and appropriate techniques to conduct standard tests and measurements in Automobile engineering activities with understanding the limitations.

Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment

An ability to understand their professional, environmental and ethical responsibilities.

Project Management

An ability to understand and use the engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well defined engineering activities.
